Laying The Groundwork

Karl Rove's mysterious polling data is surfacing, just in time to justify the attempt to steal the election. Of course the Republicans are going to "win", there is no other option. It doesn't matter that people are angrier than a wet hen, that the Republican party hasn't had a piece of good news in months, that the Iraq war isn't working out, that the economy is dying or that every core ideal of the Religious Right has been violated, the sun will be out tomorrow.

This has a twofold effect. One, it covers their ass and two it depresses voter turnout of people who would vote against them. The party of fairness and equality. What bothers me the most is that the sheeples will let them get away with it and in a month will have accepted that American freedoms are no more and that it is in our best interests to be told what to do, when and where we can do it and that why, how and who are no longer valid questions.
