It Must Be April Fool's

How many people are running for President? If any more join the field, there can't be a majority because the votes will be divided between them and their family members. Hopefully this is just an April fool's joke. And do we really need two Thompson's in the race? Both of them are out of step with the American people, but that doesn't really matter now, does it?

More computers are missing, good thing it's only atomic info. Wouldn't want anything important to fall in the hands of terrorists. That story got bumped off the front page really quick. I wonder why.

Dirk Pitt didn't handle these type of cases, but they are important in the grand scheme of things. And on a bay shrimp budget. I've been afflicted by this disease and it wasn't pretty. Thought I was dying. It's important to know where your fish comes from.

The Brits do snark so darn well. Even better by a Python. The truth hurts, even when it makes you smile. Or grimace in sympathy.

McCain so wants to be a member of the crew without a clue, that he started early.

He said the delegation drove from Baghdad's airport to the center of the city and cited that as proof that security was improving in the capital. VIP's normally make the trip by helicopter.

The delegation was accompanied by heavily armed U.S. troops throughout the periods when they were not in the Green Zone, site of the U.S. Embassy and Iraqi government. They traveled in armored military vehicles under heavy guard.
That's a strange planet he occupies. At least he's not lonely, just delusional.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican, blasted fellow members of congress, Democrats in particular, who have passed spending legislation that would set deadlines for pulling U.S. forces out of Iraq. He said U.S. President George W. Bush would veto the measures and should.

"It will be a huge mistake to set a deadline. It (the U.S. troop surge) is working. We are doing now what we should have done three years ago. ... The Iraqi people want their own destiny but they don't have the capabilities yet," he said.
It must be April Fool's day, there can be no other explanation that makes sense.

I wish this was a joke but it isn't. I found out the other day that a very funny gentleman (only 53) of past acquaintance, was found in his shower. Dead. After eight days. Having watched a few too many CSIs, my imagination has run rampant. He was a great guy, a quick wit and a diehard Raiders fan. Season seats, jackets and trivia. I can't believe it was eight days before someone looked for him. Rest in peace Chuck, you will be missed. I'll try and root for the Raiders this year, just because.

  1. McCain walks to a market in Baghdad flanked by 100 soldiers, a bullet proof vest and helicopters hovering overhead and he claims things are safe in Iraq!

McCain and Graham are as delusional as the rest of their party.

They won't admit that they are all profiteers of war and the more they praise it, the more dollars roll in.

  2. I don't have a problem with two Thompsons in the presidential race. We've already got a Mitt and a Newt, after all.
