Tuesday's Oddities

In the "umm, duh" category, this has got to be one of the more obvious headlines for quite a while and from a place I didn't expect. People pay more attention to good looking people. You could have knocked me over with a feather, I had never noticed. It isn't like almost all the newscasters are good looking. The younger ones especially, a journalism background doesn't seem to be as necessary as looking good on camera. Unless something goes wrong, then we're supposed to want our daddy's.

Have you done your Visual DNA? It's a flash based personality profile based on your preferences in photos. It nailed me pretty well.

Have you ever Thoofed?

I know I've asked this before, but can printing more money be far behind? Banks and some creditors will be happy, but it isn't going to help Jack and Jill Renter or most of those with the sub-prime loans. Makes a good news story though.

Sometimes the old becomes new, again. Moving closer to personalized medicine. Well you can look at it that way, but Chinese Medicine was always personalized. Which is why an intake takes more than five minutes, it's called getting to know your patient. Wait until they start factoring in environment at the same time, but they will still try the one pill fits all approach.
