Just A Little Wacky

I don't have children, the clock never ticked and there was no opportunity to reproduce, nor do I regret my choices. I don't believe in permanent mistakes and having a little bundle of joy is cute, but then they grow into toddlers and individual human beings and most of their parents spend the rest of their childhood trying to make them conform and become "the perfect child". Patience with their cuteness starts wearing out about three and the correcting begins in earnest or they encourage individuality with no discipline which leads to a whole host of new problems.
"Phasing out the human race by voluntarily ceasing to breed will allow Earth's biosphere to return to good health. Crowded conditions and resource shortages will improve as we become less dense."
This site is a little interesting with some very good observations but they do go a little overboard. As Broadsheet points out:
"Perusing the movement's Web site yields bromides like: "If sex is an urge to procreate, then hunger's an urge to defecate." Yes, that's right, they just compared having a child to shitting. That's one way to win over people who are on the fence about having a kid. Then, there's this: "People who envision having a baby often forget that they are creating an entirely new human being who will leave in a few years as an adult." Honey, I forgot the toddler would grow up!"
Most people do forget that the toddler will grow up, talk back, get into trouble or involved with the wrong people, and love badly. And that's if everything goes well with conception and birth with no unforeseen life traumas like hurricanes or accidents.

Not all of us need to reproduce. Children are not a 2.0 version of doing your life over.

I expect Reverend Billy will weigh in on this. I don't know why, but I think so.
