According to this article in Scientific American, if you tune your senses to a particular color, shape or motion, it makes it easier to find things. Which is probably how any good jigsaw player approaches the challenge. The real fun is putting together one of the irregularly shaped puzzles, those are a hoot.
Another female President in a discriminatory society, it's getting to be so common everywhere except in the former land of equality and freedom. Yes the position is largely ceremonial, but they already elected a woman (Indira Ghandi) to a position of power (Prime Minister) over forty years ago. Here in the US, we just got our first female Speaker, we're down to one woman on the Supreme Court and people are still debating whether or not we are ready for a female President.
This is supposedly a story about children flying alone and the difficulties they can encounter. It also provides a revealing look at the state of airfare today and it's pretty pitiful. Last month alone, more than 20,000 flights were canceled and someone is relieved that the rate is down to 26% for flights late or canceled for the first two weeks of July. Most businesses wouldn't exist with stats like that.
