Tragedy, Triviality, Stupidity And Foolishness

The mortgage crisis is spreading. Of course it is. People have been spending more than they make for a little too long and now that they aren't making any money, they can't pay their bills. Duh.

We need a national primary, followed thirty days later by the general election. This campaigning thing lasts way too long and after all the talk shows, debates, etc., then a few small states get to decide who the rest of us get to choose from the leftovers. States should be able to decide when they want to hold an election and if you don't want to be there, tough catooties. No wonder Americans don't bother to go to the polls anymore.

To gray or not to gray. I thought I saw a few sprinkles of gray when my hair was cut last week but since I keep mine so short it really doesn't matter what color it is. If I cared what I looked like, I would wear makeup and spend tons of money on designer clothes. I am what I am and what you see is what you get. If guys don't have to jump through hoops to impress people, why should I have to? Time thought this was so important that they did an article about it. Just reinforcing negative imaging for women, continuing to brainwash women into low self esteem about something that nature should determine, not society. Why am I not surprised? Next thing you know they will have an article about the proper dress to greet your husband when he comes home from work. Grrr.

Rock stars have an inner toddler? Who knew? The newest poster child for stupidity is Amy Winehouse. Great voice, no common sense. It's pretty bad when Courtney Love thinks you're overdoing the drugs. This is worse than shameful, it's just plain sad.
