Twofer Thursday

Well duh! Of course blacks don't put as much money into retirement savings as whites. Even when earning the same money, it isn't going to happen. There are several reasons for this, some of which are more obvious than others. First off there is the black tax. Higher interest on everything from homes to cars, so the paycheck just doesn't go as far. Next up is the shortened life expectancy, it seems that minorities don't become elderly like whites do or at least that's what the chief of the voting rights division believes. Blacks tend to be a little more cynical than you might think. What guarantee is there that the money will be worth anything when you retire or that the rules won't be changed once again? Plus, there is always the threat of prison.

The wicked witch of the east likes to pick on little children and their families, intrude on their privacy, make judgments about their lifestyle and determine how they can spend their money. My almost favorite part was the line about getting health insurance for a family of six, two of which are suffering from major injuries which makes it a preexisting condition, for less than five hundred dollars.

Yeah, and I believe in Santa Claus.
