We all know that healthcare has been fraught with problems lately, but to ignore a woman lying on the floor of the emergency who is vomiting blood is definitely a new low. Besides the sheer incompetence of the people involved, why are they even in the profession if they have no compassion for those who need help? In Chinese Medicine we believe that blood belongs inside the body and other than menstruation or deliberate needling to release blood, it belongs in the vessels and nowhere else. Involuntarily expelling blood is an emergency situation and should be treated at a hospital. Immediately. Too bad this lady was already there. Didn't they know the cameras were rolling? Everybody who was working that day should be fired and some should be prosecuted. Absolutely shameful.
Here there be dragons. Have you seen the map of the world according to the United States? Pretty funny and a little too accurate, especially if you're an isolationist.
Bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, difficulty eating or feeling full quickly and frequent or urgent urination that suddenly appears and persists for longer than two weeks, should be investigated by a competent medical professional if they have not been your usual symptoms when you don't feel well. This is good advice for both sexes but for a woman they can be early indicators of ovarian cancer and the sooner treated, the better the chances of survival. The new guidelines are due to be released on June 25th, but it's good advice and should be publicized as much as possible.
You're only as old as you feel, which means that according to my joints I'm old but my spirit is much younger. I will admit that there are a few habits some might consider to be the province of old people but I am more than willing to keep trying new things. However, they can't be dangerous to my life or limb. The reason why the military is extending the ages where you can enlist is because they are desperate for recruits, not that we're aging better. Nice try though.
