Thursday Morning Nibbles

Wil Wheaton elegantly states what most of us are thinking about the upcoming presidential election. My only quibble is that ever since 1968 I've thought that the campaigns went on too long. It only takes a few weeks to decide American Idol, why should it take years to decide who is going to be the next President? And then there is always the next election. It never ends.

You call them smoke angels, I say it looks like the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

When something is built by the lowest bidder, you get what you pay for, the cheapest product. This is okay if you are buying a can opener, not so good if you are building a space station. The design sucks and it has taken way too long to get it stabilized. It makes me wonder what else is going to go wrong.

With all the so-called terrorists (formerly innocent Americans) running around, with Osama been forgotten still running loose, our government has the time, money and manpower to waste on setting up a Waco style situation. Over taxes. And then they say they have no plans to do anything except wait it out. Ooh, I believe that one.

Ten diet hacks to keep you slim and trim. Most of the them are pretty helpful, number three's timetable is a little optimistic. Adding a new habit is a good thing, but every day will be too much of a change, too fast and most people won't continue. Once a week is often enough.

It's Flag Day, is your's in good condition?
