Representative Joe Wilson made a mistake and knew he was making a mistake when he accused the president of lying during his speech. The first thing they teach you in the military is to respect the Commander in Chief and if you can't do that then you should remember to respect the office. I attended basic training at Ft. Jackson, SC which is part of Mr. Wilson's district so I know that concept is not foreign to him.
